Geronimo wins Silver & Bronze!

At the 2012 Sydney Royal Fine Food Show, Geronimo Jerky walked away with 7 awards! Yep 7! Putting us up as the most awarded beef jerky in the country! Our relatively new flavour Pow Wow took out the silver award.

This coming year we will be trying to perfect our recipes, so that in 2013, you will hopefully see a GOLD award at the top of this page!

Geronimo wins Bronze!

We have won a Bronze medal at the 2011 Sydney Royal Fine Food Show. Our Blazin' Saddle recipe won the award, putting it as one of the most highly awarded Beef Jerky's in the country, as according to the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show.

 

We've come a long way from our humble beginnings at the little shop in Stafford. The Great South East Story was filmed on us last year when we were on the verge of bursting at the seams of the Stafford shop. At that stage we had been at the shop for about 12 months. We were four friends working any spare time we had outside of our 9-5 jobs.

It soon became apparent that we needed to devote more time to the business and soon both Mark (the Big Chief) and Neill were at the shop full time. We quickly outgrew that little shop with more workers, more stockists and more opportunities to market Geronimo Jerky so we moved to the fabulous Blackwood Street in Mitchelton.

We moved in five days! That in itself was a massive achievement (considering we also built a wall in the new shop), to stop production for only five days.

At the Blackwood Street shop we are now able to produce the quantities of beef jerky we need to keep up to date with orders coming from the Defence Force, Tackle World Australia wide, Jan Powers Markets at Mitchelton and approximately 30 other locations across the country.

Now not only can you pop in to sample for free any of our wonderful beef jerky, but you can also have a fabulous coffee from the one and Jasmine - our very first promo girl. Jasmine (who is a barista by trade) and her team run a great little cafe out the front of our shop to make the whole experience of coming to visit us something you'll want to do again and again.

What started as an idea by four friends to market the best beef jerky they had ever tasted, has now turned into a business turning over tonnes of beef each month - and growing at an alarming rate!

We strive to make our beef jerky the best in the business, we continue to develop new flavours (Geronimo Jerky makes the ONLY beef jerky with Guarana AND the Hottest beef jerky in Australia) and most of all we've remembered to make this journey fun.

Monday - Friday: 6:00am to 4pm

Saturday: 7am to 2pm

Sunday: 7am to 2pm and 1st Sunday of each month for Market Day (7am- 12pm)
